Our Families

Armidale Montessori Preschool prides itself on being a very multi-cultural Service. We actively celebrate cultural diversity within our Preschool curriculum.

We welcome everyone at Armidale Montessori Preschool, and always strive for a culturally inclusive environment. Our families and educators are from all around the world, with all kinds of interests, skill sets and socio-economic backgrounds.

We strongly believe that cultural diversity enriches our community – our current enrolments include families from over 27 different countries, including Australia, France, Iran, Iraq, Germany, Greece, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, India, China, Korea, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, and many more.

Our families are encouraged to actively participate and be involved in the education of their children and are invited to share their skills, culture and knowledge as part of our Montessori Cultural Curriculum.

We are also very proud to have families enrolled within our Service who have had children enrolled with us over multiple generations.

We have an enthusiastic and dedicated team of parents on the Preschool Committee, and families that contribute in many ways to the welcoming culture and richness at our Service. We have regular events that families can participate in, and many of our families share friendships outside of the school.
